If your entry includes a float, car, truck, or any other vehicle, it must comply with the City of San Diego Float and Parade Vehicle requirements.
Participation is at no charge for most entries. However, parade entries for advertisement purposes are subject to a $500 entry fee. No racist, sexist, pornographic or otherwise offensive entries are allowed. All participant entries are subject to acceptance of the Boulevard BOO! Parade Committee and the College Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC). CAEDC reserves the right to refuse entry to any participation applicant for any reason.
By signing this application/Agreement you give the CAEDC the exclusive right to use in any media your name, likeness, photos, recordings, video or telecast reproduction of your performance for any purpose including television airing, promotion, advertising or otherwise (including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, and official BOO! Parade web site, known as: www.booparade.com.
In addition, you further agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend against any action against the CAEDC: Boulevard BOO! Parade, its employees, its officers, its Boards, all persons involved in organizing, sponsoring or conducting the Boulevard BOO! Parade and all related activities, its Committees and their respective officers, agents, sponsors and employees, from and against any and all claims, losses, suits, judgments, damages and expenses, including attorney’s fees, for any injury or damage, and any other claims asserted by or on behalf of any third party, and any liabilities whatsoever to anyone associated with my organization/group/business arising from, or in connection with my/our participation in the Boulevard BOO! Parade and all related activities.
I/We, the undersigned, represent and warrant that I/we process all necessary authority to perform any musical compositions I/we may play in conjunction with the Boulevard BOO! Parade and all related activities. I/We have read and understand this Consent and Release in its entirety. I/We warrant that I/We are properly authorized to sign this Consent and Release on behalf of myself and my organization/group/business.
